It was definitely a lot of work, but the connections I have made with the Barbers and clients have left an impact on me as a person. I finally see why men don’t cheat on their Barbers. This is their therapy.
Meet Hafiz (Barber) and Shai (Client)
Shai is my cousin, and an amazing individual that inspires me everyday. He is always open to trying new things and this time, he wanted to try a new haircut. I introduced him to Hafiz, who has been itching to try a new haircut. Most men who walked in to the shop would normally go for a Modern Cut, but Shai wanted something different – he wanted to look like Bruno Mars. Check out the video to see how it turned out!

Meet Nana (Barber Apprentice) and Bev (Client)
Traditionally, barber shops are a place where mostly men will commune. At 2Tone Barbers, we wanted it to be an inclusive one. Our Barbers were open to the idea of learning to cut longer hair with Nana being the most excited about it. In comes Bev, a Body Piercing Specialist working at a Tattoo Studio nearby (and also my best friend), who needed to fix her haircut she got in Johor Bahru that she wasn’t too satisfied with. Watch the video to see how it turned out!

Meet Neo (Barber) and Syak (Client)
Does Syak look familiar? He’s a Content Creator at SGAG! We brought him in for a haircut and Neo did a fantastic job. Now he doesn’t want anybody else cutting his hair! Fun fact, Neo is only 19 years old in the video but has a flair for cutting hair. His attention to detail is impressive and his clients are always returning for a haircut with him.
